Jaipur: In a significant initiative to provide training, mentorship and better opportunities to emerging talent in the field of film and television, the Film and Television Institute of Rajasthan (FTIR) and Sunrising Cinevision Academy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for technical and infrastructure support.
The partnership aims to provide quality training, expert guidance and practical exposure to the youth of Rajasthan and aspiring talents who wish to build careers in the film and television industry. The MoU was signed by Anmol Agrawal, Director, Sunrising Cinevision Academy, and Somendra Harsh, Director, Film and Television Institute of Rajasthan (FTIR).
The Film and Television Institute of Rajasthan (FTIR) is launching its initial courses in various key areas of the film and television industry, including Cinematography, Editing, Acting, Direction, Screenwriting, Filmmaking, Content Creation for Influencers, and Film Distribution & Marketing.
The institute will offer courses of different durations and levels, including four-day workshops, six- and twelve-weekend courses, one-month crash courses, three-month certificate courses, and six-month advanced certificate courses.
The objective of these programmes is not limited to providing technical training. They are designed to develop creative thinking, experimentation, storytelling skills and a distinctive creative identity among participants. Special emphasis will be placed on providing students with practical exposure to filmmaking and television production while preparing them to meet the evolving requirements of the industry.

Film and Television Institute of Rajasthan (FTIR) said, “Rajasthan has no shortage of talent or stories. The state’s rich culture, folk art, traditions, heritage and lifestyle offer immense possibilities for film and television. FTIR aims to provide the youth of Rajasthan with quality training and the right platform so that they can take their stories and creative ideas to national and international audiences.”
Anmol Agrawal, Director, Sunrising Cinevision Academy, said, “Filmmaking is a creative process that requires not only technical knowledge but also imagination, discipline and the ability to tell compelling stories. This collaboration with FTIR will provide students and emerging filmmakers with an important opportunity to learn, experiment and develop their skills through practical experience.”
